BACK FROM MALLORCA

MALLORCA ROCKING HARD!
Well well. Who'd have thought Mallorca could rock so hard?! Bombay Bicycle Club followed by a banging set from Zane Lowe and right now The Kooks are bopping about on stage. Flooded by coloured lights and set up right next to a pool that's glowing blue in the dark of the evening - this is a stunning location for a gig and people are going mental!
Myself, Adam and Tom are now sat up on my hotel room balcony looking down on the proceedings with grins on our faces.
"This rates up there as one of the best moments of my life," Tom's telling me. "This is awesome and my life is amazing!!!". Awww. Very happy to hear that!
You lads are super!

MALLORCA DAY TWO
Hey there pals. Katie here from next to a pool at our hotel in Mallorca. Winners Adam and Tom are here too and we're lounging in the sunshine. It's lunchtime here and we're getting set for the Kooks gig tonight on a stage right here by the pool!
Last night we went out for dinner near the hotel before having a wander along the strip checking out some of the local bars. It was a lot of fun but I'll be honest with you all, i'd only had about one hours sleep so I headed back to the hotel and sleeeeeeept. Adam and Tom went out to a club with a foam machine and partied till 5am. Good lads. I'm more alive today and ready for this evening's fun.
This morning I went and changed up some money and chatted to a crazy 70-year old Spanish man called Raphael. He liked that I spoke Spanish so went and bought me a coffee at his friends cafe. I told him all about this mad and wonderful job and he was pretty amazed!

ARRIVED IN MALLORCA
Woooo hoo! Week 2 is well under way! I arrived in Mallorca this morning at 9am (following a hard 3am wake-up for flight) and spent the morning hanging out with my friend Howard who moved here a few months ago from England.
He works as a graphic designer here and has a very cool boss who let us go and use his speed boat to blast around the sea for a few hours.
Following that, I had some grub and have just met up with this week's winners Adam and Tom, who are brothers. They've flown in from the East Midlands today. Adam is an accountant and his younger brother is an electrician. They have good taste in music - we've already discussed Beatles, The Kinks and Billy Talent - and they're looking forward to tomorrow night's gig at our hotel.
Tom has actually been to Mallorca before, so will hopefully remember some cool places to check out tonight in Magaloof.
Rumour has it that tv legend Pat Sharpe runs a bar out here, and we three have already decided this is a must-find destination.
Anyhoo... We're now off to the hotel to check in and get ready for a fun evening ahead. Will keep you all posted.

PREPARING FOR WEEK TWO AT ... MALLORCA ROCKS!
Well well.. one festival down and 29 to go! This coming weekend I'll be jetting off (is it jetting when it's such a short flight?) to Mallorca for the Mallorca Rocks event.
Now, people may have heard of Ibiza Rocks - that's been going for a while - well the Mallorca version is like the sister-event, kicking off with a night of fun with The Kooks, Zane Lowe and Bombay Bicycle Club by the seaside in the sun!
By the looks of the website, it's going to be pretty mental!
Once again i'll be joined by two winners who are going to accompany me on the trip and take in the summer sights. I just chatted to them on the phone, and they seem pretty ready to get going!
